The Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Thriving Network (BTN) is a dynamic and inclusive network of self-identified People of Color dedicated to building sustainable communities, healing from racial trauma, and driving systemic change. BTN works with local organizations and community members to offer a diverse range of programs designed to foster growth, connection, and empowerment for BIPOC individuals. Through these initiatives, BTN provides spaces for cultural expression, support, and skill-building, empowering members to thrive personally and collectively.
BTN initiatives currently include: BIPOC Playgroup, BIPOC Writers Group, BIPOC Makers Night with Hatchspace, BIPOC Expungement Clinic, BIPOC Financial Empowerment Program, Mutual Aid Support Network (MASN), and BIPOC Adoptees Group.
We also work closely with Lost River Racial Justice (LRRJ), a group of white allies who we lovingly refer to as our co-conspirators! In addition to our BTN meetings, we also co-host “Healing in Practice,” collaborative organizing meetings where BTN and LRRJ identify and address strategic ways to support our communities.
